To preserve the "shaggy" look and softness of your knitted balaclava, we strongly recommend hand washing in cold or lukewarm water with a gentle detergent. If you use a machine, choose a delicate cycle at a maximum of 30°C and place the item in a laundry bag to prevent the knit loops from catching. Tumble drying is not recommended: gently press the garment to remove excess water (do not wring) and let it dry flat in the open air. This will prevent the fiber from stretching and will maintain the specific shape of the knit winter after winter.
